On December 25th 1990, A Tribe Called Quest performed alongside fellow artists Leaders Of The New School (Busta Rhymes' former crew) at the legendary indy space The Building, an event hosted by Dj Kid Capri.
The building, formerly a power station, was known to host some of the best indy events of the late 80s, where crews such as The Beastie Boys, Run DMC, Black Sheep amongst many others performed while you could step by non-others than Naomi Campbell or Mike Tyson alongside Guru of Gang Starr in the Crowd.
Chimneys are turned into jazz instruments, this is the idea behind this one. Urban ghetto jazz at its best !
