Recently a customer suggested that I should do a print on the collaborative LP between producer Madlib and rapper MF DOOM called Madvillain, as a follow up to my design on the JAYLIB LP. I love Madvillain, one of the most complete LP in all matters, with DOOM and Madlib on top level.
So I did (Thanks, Jenny), putting the emphasis on the scenery of the Madvillain cover, which has MF DOOM stretching hands in the air for what happened to be a beautiful picture. Scenery is important, artwork is too, and I am always amazed by the efforts put up by the Stones Throw art team, which gives a variety and quality upon their music.
Update 02/26 : The J Dilla collab series is now coming in a new color scheme.
