In Wu-Tang Clan's video for their "Can it be that it was all so simple" track, featuring Ghostface Killah and Raekwon, The Chief wore that Polo Ralph Lauren jacket as a wink to New-York's infamous crew The Lo-Lifes (mostly ghetto kids making names amongst their community while dressing up (and collecting) entirely in Ralph Lauren clothes).
Back in 1994 when the video came out, the mid-zip 2 color block tones jacket made its way into conversations, but no one would have expected the jacket to become a classical icon, reaching far-fetched amounts of money on Ebay.
