
There is plenty of instruments in the jazz world, but somehow guitar doesn't necessary strikes as one, even though its influence, especially that of the latin and gipsy, has reached a tremendous amount of jazz musicians.
Django Reinhardt was one of them. He went on to play with Duke Ellington and many others. I wanted to illustrate his particular guitar, the Selmer, with a bit of smoke as the guitar player was known to many with a cigarette in his mouth.
