Browsing ideas for a Thelonious Monk took quite some time, I needed some material that would continue the series of Jazz LPs that I'd already done, but I also wanted to deconstruct just a bit the structure of those previous prints, in accordance to what stands out of Monk's music.
Harmonies float in the air with different wings in Thelonious Monk's amazing discography, so I took it to deconstruct the instrument he is mostly known for.
I took aside the detailed figures to improvise a bit more on this one, this for the same idea of making it relevant to The Monk's Quartet "Monk's Dream" Lp.
