Probably one of rock music's major hall of fame band, Radiohead doesn't need any introduction, nor do their first electronic LP "Kid A", released in 2000. For his first solo album, Thom Yorke, Radiohead's lead singer, choose to follow this electronic path, very distinctive of Radiohead's music as a band, and yet perfectly coherent and which gathered high praise from the band's fans.
Now, opinions on The Eraser were less unanimous, some saw in it a follow up to Kid A, but others might have found it a bit too easy and were expecting more.
I was personally amongst those who felt this was a very good follow up to Kid A. So to make my composition for this Eraser poster, I went through the folded booklet designed by Stanley Donwood and choose elements that would make the whole idea of it without taking too much space, as I really wanted those thick waves and black clouds to remain some of the main elements.
