Do The Right Thing came out the exact same year as the Air Jordan IV, and Spike Lee, who was to work a lot with the brand and Michael Jordan in the years to come in the Blackmoon commercials, had a small yet quite relevant incident involving the brand new Air Jordans of one of his characters.
The Brooklyn based movie, in its social/ riot genre, couldn't prove any more accurate today. Unfortunately.
I've been a sneakerhead for ages and what you see here is the original Nike (back then Nike owned the Air Jordan brand) Air Jordan IV in its white-cement colorway. Of course, the shoes didn't come stained when you bought them, but when I thought about this poster there wasn't no doubt that the stain should be here as it is just so relevant.
