Following my series on Woody Allen movies through my Blue Series label, I am starting a series on Michel Gondry's cinematography. One of my favorite director, Michel Gondry has been making quite a few "public" hits, but really the reason I like this type of creative person is that the main reason behind their work remains authentic, playing like kids in true shape and purpose.
It really shows in Be Kind Rewind, starring Mos Def (as an actor), Jack Black and Danny Glover.
I didn't want to put too much of the movie in my poster though, instead I focused on the inner idea of the movie, revamping classics using your own camera (they call that "sueding movies…" :D ) so I thought why not use a Super 8 camera, the rendering of the camera is great, and the object itself is a fairly pretty piece of design.
I did put hints to the movies though…
