Although more of a smooth/ laid back jazzy Hip Hop listener, I have to admit I've been keen on the more industrial/ alternative genre since Company Flow and cohorts took on Rawkus in the early 2000s.
When I first Labor Days it was a real treat. i saw Aesop Rock with El-P and Slow Suicide Stimulus live in Montreal and the guys really killed the show (no pun intended).
So when I saw the video directed by Rob Shaw I immediately felt how everything was in the right place, the skeletons skateboarding (as a skateboarder for +30 years I can only stress how this is not something we like to be touched ), the 3D rendering…
Also it was fun working on that as it felt different from what I usually do.
