This past summer I started this series in which I will illustrate shows from bands/ singers with an emblematic vehicle, and a typical wall from the city the show took place at. With that I want to showcase the artist in a situation of simple living, staying downtown, maybe doing their groceries at your local store…
Beirut is an incredible artist. A complete artist, in the sense that he plays, writes, sings, but also in the sense that his has his very own idea of music, opens to different genres but always with the same talent and involvement.
Needless to say the show at Nuits de Fourvière was incredible. The scene in the antic theater just seemed a perfect place for his musicians and him.
