A big fan of Freddie Gibbs, whom I consider a modern-day Tupac (I know some may not like it), I really wanted to get a print focused on the track Crime Pays as it is for that same reason that I would suggest Gibbs is a top 5 gangsta rapper, the attitude, the lyrics, the character himself (and history) make him such an important MC in that category.
I kept the color scheme that I used on most of my Stones Throw/ Madlib Invazion and came up with this Nike shoe box stacked with cash, a very idiomatic image, next to that famous microwave which both comes in the song "Crime Pays" (2019) and "Thuggin" (2014).
The microwave boasts a Madlib Invazion branding and Gibbs is featured on the current fonction of the microwave that I customed with a legit zebra skin.
