Homeboy Sandman is one of my favorites to ever grab a microphone, if not my favorite. I'd assume anyone who's heard his catalog feels the same, and if you're looking at this very likely you get my point; in a rap game where money, cars, girls and terrible fashion are the main topic, Boy Sand is the freshest, most independent and an incredible MC of course.
On this artwork I wanted to put forward the runner and put it in a way that would showcase Homeboy Sandman's care for not being surrounded by toxic people and rather be on his own.
Boy Sand played at home at the Blue Note Jazz Cafe (NYC), so I went with this venue with my man going to the show running while the sun is going down.
Had lots of fun doing this one.
