Like most Hip Hop heads I was profoundly touched by Mac Miller's recent death, he had gone a long way from the KIDS mixtape to a complete artist always capable of reinventing himself, which had gained him honors from the whole industry. Indeed he made it a point to not go the easy route and do what was expected from him. His music wasn't easy, it claimed a nostalgia to the 90s golden era but also took from the present times, that only a few can do well…
I really liked his music, liked the person too, the creativity was next level and the result was something you'd want to share with everyone.
I wanted to do a tribute print, in a way, saying Thank You, just as in the title of the mixtape.
The character on the print is the one from the "Come back to Earth" song, the face silhouette that of the Best Day Ever LP …
