Ever wondered how producers Madlib & Jay Dilla came up with the idea of collaborating on what was to become the JAYLIB LP?
Well, what I am giving you here is an insight… Madlib as his other-self rapper Quasimoto spitting verses on made-on-the-spot beats by Jay D might just be how the two came up with such a great album.
Now, I'd been looking to do a JAYLIB print for a while but even though I knew I wanted Quasimoto and Dilla together, it only struck me recently that it'd just look awesome to put them in a Charlie Brown/ Peanuts manner.
Of course, Quasimoto is smoking, and Jay Dee is wearing Nike Dunks while making beats on his MPC2000…
