Coinciding with the (re-)launch of my Public Enemy x Do The Right Thing print is this new series dedicated to Nike sneakers, more particularly Nike Adverts from the 90s. But I didn't want to just reproduce existing advertising, rather I wanted to reignite the essence of those adverts. Bold, humourous and provocative that is.
I also wanted that these ads be made from a sneaker enthusiast point of view, ie focusing on the culture, and that is why I am very proud to present these Nike ads paralleled with Spike Lee's movie Do The Right Thing.
Here are Mookie's Nike Air Trainer IIIs being used to deliver Sal's pizzas. The best of both worlds I guess.
