For my R.E.M. (accompanied by Kim Gordon's indy band Sonic Youth) gig print of the band's date in Vancouver on May 20th, 1995, I decided to go with something rather soothing, literally a woman taking a long awaited bath, which she couldn't wait to go in and so dropped all clothes and things.
I guess it's the impression of a strong need for calm in R.E.M.'s video for Everybody Hurts that led me to draw this. Something very Los Angeles, the absolute need for relief after the stress caused by the metropolis' fast way of living.
