Sade's impact on music is tremendous. She's one of these artists that everybody acknowledges. And her music just doesn't seem to age. It's almost like everytime you hear one of her songs feels like hearing them for the first time.
I felt the smoothness of her voice, the delicate, balanced and vibrant music allowed for my artwork to go along my jazz prints series. But as I browsed ideas for this poster, I realized how much the photograph on the cover of Love Deluxe has this grain, sandy brightness and this became my focus; rendering this rich, almost bronze photo with my blue and white fragments.
