I am starting this new series in which I will illustrate shows from bands/ singers with a vehicle emblematic of the country of the show, and a typical wall from the city the show took place at.
I choose Sufjan Stevens to be the 1st of the series, his latest album is a deeply emotional, beautifully sung and written hommage to his parents, and the show at the Grand Rex in Paris was amazing from what I've seen.
Hence the Renault 4L, an old car that to me goes very well with the simple structures of Sufjan's songs, and an Haussmanian building behind.
