Maybe it's due to my age and how old I was in the early 2000s but movies then appeared to be distinguishing themselves in a very interesting way to me. It almost seemed like independent movies were taking off with both different plots and visuals actually coming back to real life situations, and I was really caught up in that film category. Still am.
The beauty of depicting something that everyone can relate to in a perky way happens to be a difficult task, and High Fidelity really did that.
Now, add to it that there is a tremendous work on the soundtrack, this movie got it all.
My idea for the print was pretty simple, putting every record that is played in the movie as a vinyl collector would have it.
I did find it amusing though, to have some of the tracks as singles while others as the album they were featured on. Took forever to track all records' sleeves, identifying fonts and reproducing logos etc but I'm pretty happy with the result.
