I'd been wanting to make a poster for Peter Weir's The Truman Show for a while now, but it's only recently that I found an idea that was original and corresponded with my idea of bringing the character outside his whereabouts in the movie.
Here we have Burbank Truman after he just found the door leading to the outside world, contemplating a TV show billboard promoting his "real life" (all while making a promotion for Emerson TVs as in the movie), kinda dumb-founded by what he's discovering, with the sphere he was living in in the background.
Wanted to use both warm and cold colors to depict the change operated in the movie, also giving a retro vibe as life is in the movie.
