There are so many great late 80s references in Spike Lee's Do The Right Thing that it would be a shame not to do another visual with them… Radio Raheem is a strong character in the movie, the match that lights the fire in a way…and for him to listen to Public Enemy's "Fight The Power" while wearing Nike Air Revolutions just makes perfect sense. Doesn't it?
I choose a frontal sight for this one, to impersonate the revolutionary status of Radio Raheem.
The Air Revolution was first released in 1988. As with most Nike Basketball shoes, the high-top, bulky bubbled shoe featured and ankle-strap to maintain protection and stability.
